Guide

A person or an assistant on WhatsApp, which should answer your customers?

Asked that way it is the wrong question, and it wastes money in both directions: hiring for a job a system does better, or buying a system for a job that never needed one. Here is the honest version.

When a person is the right answer

If you get a handful of messages a day, know your customers by name, and do not mind answering between other things, keep doing it yourself and buy nothing.

A small, calm inbox is not a problem, and a system built for a problem you do not have is just a monthly bill. Anyone who says every business needs a bot is selling, not advising.

When a person alone stops coping

The trouble starts in the middle: enough messages arrive that some slip, and they come at night and on Sundays. The same five questions, opening hours, do you have this, how much, are you open today, eat the hours of someone who should be doing something harder.

None of it shows on a wage bill, but it is real, and the customers you lose to a slow reply never tell you they left.

What each is actually good at

They are good at opposite things, which is the whole point.

The answer is usually both

Put each where it is strong. The assistant takes the repeated questions the moment they arrive and quietly hands anything it is unsure of to a person, flagged, not buried.

Your team stops drowning in the same five questions and spends the day on the customers who genuinely need a human. Nobody is replaced. The work moves, and the person moves to the part that was always theirs.

How to tell which you are

You do not need us for this. Take a normal week of your WhatsApp and count two things: how many messages you get, and how many are the same handful of questions.

If most are repeats and some are slipping, an assistant pays for itself quickly and frees your people. If volume is low and most messages need a real decision, hire a good person or keep answering yourself. The count tells you, not the salesperson.

If you land in the middle, the free audit counts exactly this with your real numbers. You can also read how we split the two on the pricing page, or see how the WhatsApp assistant hands the hard ones to a person.

Straight answers

Person or AI for WhatsApp?

Usually both. The assistant takes the repeated questions instantly, a person takes the ones that need judgment. Very low volume, keep answering it yourself.

Will it replace my staff?

No. It takes the repetitive part off their plate so they spend their day on the customers who need a human. The work moves, the person stays.

How do I know I have outgrown doing it myself?

When messages arrive after hours, the same five questions eat your day, and enough are slipping that you are losing customers you never see.

Do the count, then decide

The free audit counts your real messages and shows you honestly whether an assistant pays, or whether you are fine as you are. Thirty minutes, no obligation, you keep the findings.
